The idea was born in 2012 in a small pizzeria. After yet another poorly executed order from our printer, Lukáš Písecký and Jaroslav Hasa sat down over coffee late one evening and asked a simple question: how do you build a better ordering system for print production that eliminates unnecessary mistakes? 

We will not pretend we arrived at anything groundbreaking. But we did reach one honest conclusion: if we were unhappy with the approach of so many printers, we could simply take production into our own hands. We would solve our own problem and, in doing so, solve the same problem for everyone else who felt the same way. 

More than 12 years, several acquisitions and a few reinventions later, we have built a print facility with a technology park that competes with major EU suppliers. We believe the reason for that is the same philosophy we started with: humanity, quality, speed and fair pricing. 

As the company grew, we expanded our capacity at the end of 2016 to accommodate new technology and a growing team. It was also the moment we felt it was time to 

improve how we communicated and how we showed up as a company. When we moved to our new premises, we changed our name from moja-tlač to DIW Print.
